Who we are
PaKasal is a wedding-planning app for couples in the Philippines. Questions about this policy or your data go to hello@weddingcultures.com.
What we collect
- Your account: your name and email address, from Google or the email you sign in with.
- Your wedding plan: what you and the people you invite enter, such as guest names, RSVP status, budget, vendors, tasks and seating.
We don't sell your data, show ads or share it with vendors. Guests never need an account.
Who can see a wedding
Only the people the couple invites. Each wedding is separated in the database, so one couple can never see another couple's plan. Parents can be limited to their own side's guests, with the budget hidden.
Where it's stored
Data is stored with Supabase (database and sign-in) and the app is served through Vercel. Both encrypt data in transit and at rest.
How long we keep it
Your wedding stays available while your access is active. The owner can delete a wedding at any time from People & access; this removes all of its data. You can also ask us to delete your account.
Your rights
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its use. Email hello@weddingcultures.com and we'll respond as soon as we can.
When you add guests, you're responsible for having a reason to hold their details, such as inviting them to your wedding.
